Network Topology

1. Bus Bus topology is often also called a daisy chain or Ethernet bus topologies. Last designation is given because the device uses a bus topology network / network interface card (NIC) named ethernet

2. Ring
Ring topology is very different from the topology bus. As the name implies, the network that use this topology can be recognized from the wires that form the backbone ring

3. Star
Star topology identified by the presence of a central hub that connects all nodes. Each node uses a UTP or STP cable is connected from the ethernet card to the hub.

4. Tree
Tree topology is also called star-bus topology or star / bus hybrid. Tree topology is comprised of a star topology that is connecting with bus topology. Tree topology used to connect a LAN to another LAN

5. Mesh
Mesh topology can be recognized by the relationship of point to point or one-one to each computer. Every computer connected to another computer via a cable, can use coaxial cable, twisted pair and even fiber optics. Mesh topology is very rarely implemented, in addition to complex cable also extremely wasteful.
